The Nickel Alloys produced, or specialty stainless as it is sometimes called, refers to metal containing combinations of Nickel (Ni), Chrome (Cr), Iron (Fe), Molybdenum (Mo), Carbon (C), Cobalt (Co), Tungsten (W), and other elements.

We are the complete source for sand, centrifugal and investment castings, as well as rod, wire sheet and plate fabrications. Alcon is unique in our ability to manufacture both castings and fabrications at one location. This means single source responsibility to our customers

Some of the markets serviced by all divisions of Alcon include: Heat Treating; Off Road; Automotive; Aerospace; Aircraft; Petrochemical; Bearing, Lime & Cement Processing; Steel; Power Generation; Powder Metal; and Defense.

Quality: Our ability to provide a product that will perform under "severe" service applications is directly linked to quality. Our in-house Quality Control Lab identifies the components of each alloy. We utilize the latest equipment to maintain process standards for all products produced. We understand that Quality standards are first and foremost to our customers.

Quality systems for the foundry and fabrication divisions currently conform to MIL-I-45208A and are being updated to meet ISO-9001.

Size: Alcon's manufacturing area encompasses 124,000 square feet, with 225 employees. The 8800 square feet of office space is centrally located between manufacturing facilities.

Technology: Our in-house engineering department houses two CAD stations with Pentium based computers using AutoCad 2000 for Windows NT. Alcon also utilizes AFSolid solidification modeling software which assists in product design specific to this industry.

Our 100TX Networking System adequately services our new SYMIX Enterprise Resource Planning Systems. This system is instrumental in implementing our company-wide reengineering program.
