No brokerage fees are taken from the residual value. Purchase is made either in cash, or as a scrap credit toward future purchases. J.I.T. Stocking: Alcon offers a "Just In Time" delivery program for your most critical alloy components. By keeping the inventory for you, we can deliver that critical component immediately, eliminating down-time for you. We also notify you when reorder is necessary. Electronic Data Interchange (E.D.I.): Alcon works on-line with many companies in an effort to reduce paperwork. This equates into fewer man-hours on both sides, while being kind to the environment. Part Consolidation: In some instances, machined forgings and sand castings can be redesigned into one multi-functional investment casting. By reducing the weight and machining costs, the selling price is reduced. Redesign Program: Alcon's in-house engineering department works directly with the end user to rethink solutions and develop design alternatives to improve productivity. Lower Cost Alloy Substitutions: Our thorough knowledge of alloy properties allows us to suggest cost effective alloy options that will not compromise the integrity of the product. Some alloys may offer lower operating costs per cycle than others.
